Sanctuary
The Main Hall at Winfield United can be stripped down to a bare painted concrete floor or filled to capacity with chairs and tables. In the 30 years since it was built, WUC has been used not only for Weekly Worship, but also as a coffee house, AGM venue, for Weddings and Funerals, family reunions, Craft Fairs, Yoga and Sound Therapy retreats, concerts, piano and music recitals, and so much more. The sanctuary is a very versatile space.

Rent the space and set it up the way you want. The only restrictions are that you must return the chancel to the way it was for Sunday Morning, clean up after yourself, and don't touch our Audio-Visual equipment. Also, no alcohol (including wine) permitted, no smoking or vaping permitted, and no gambling (including raffles and bingo).

Piano recitals are popular rental events that happen two to three times a year. We have a lovely Yamaha baby Grand Piano that teachers move into the centre of the chancel area so that their pupils can showcase what they have learned.

The sanctuary includes the pass-through to the kitchen. If your plans include food, please check out the information on the Commercial Kitchen page for information about use of our kitchen facilities.
